It’s a naturally occurring material that has been used in building and landscaping for over 2,000 years. With a proven durability over long periods of time, limestone is ideally suited to withstand environmental stresses.
As a sedimentary rock formed over millions of years of pressure on the ocean floor it has captured fossilised plant and animal life within its structure, leading to its composition of the mineral calcite and the presence of silica, flint, sand and clay.
